Dr. Chris CurtisAu.D., CCC-A
Dr. Chris Curtis comes to Rocky Mountain Hearing & Balance with a broad range of both academic and practical experience. He earned his bachelor’s and doctorate degrees from Utah State University. He works professionally with several local physicians to provide a full range of diagnostic testing including electronystagmography / videonystagmography (ENG/VNG) testing, auditory brainstem response testing (ABR), vestibular evoked myogenic potential (VEMP) testing, and electrocochleography (ECochG) testing. Dr. Curtis is excited about the improvements made in hearing aid/amplification technology and is passionate about educating patients on their “latest and greatest” hearing aid advances. He looks forward to helping each patient who walks through the door. Dr. Curtis enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and two adorable children.
Dr. Karyn StoreyAu.D., CCC-A
Dr. Karyn Storey is excited to become a part of Rocky Mountain Hearing and Balance. A Utah native, Karyn obtained her Doctorate in Audiology from Utah State University where she was given many unique opportunities including presenting research in Oxford England and participating in humanitarian service in Ghana, El Salvador, and Mexico. She comes to Rocky Mountain with experience in hearing aids and balance assessment at several local ENT clinics. She has also worked with the National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management to improve follow up for newborn hearing testing in the state of Utah. Karyn understands how hearing loss and dizziness can affect family relationships and work productivity, and she knows the importance of compassion and integrity in dealing with these difficult health issues. Whenever she can, she loves to spend time with her husband and 3 children and is thrilled to be expecting her first grandchild later this year!
Melanie PaceClinic Office Manager
Utah native Melanie Pace joined Rocky Mountain Hearing & Balance in 2008 and has been instrumental in shaping an unmatched quality of patient care. Melanie delights our patients on many levels with her personal quest to make everyone feel comfortable and valued. Her responsibilities to the clinic include managing all areas of patient care from scheduling to check-in/check-out to referral management for follow-up care and treatment. Other tasks include bookkeeping, inventory management, and insurance coordination/billing. Melanie has become a helpful and efficient resource to our medical partners, internal staff, and patients alike. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandsons!
Patient Care Coordinator
Aubrey’s cheerful and caring disposition is instantaneously recognized by everyone she serves by phone or in-person. Since joining Rocky Mountain Hearing & Balance in 2016, she’s become an indispensable asset to area physicians, our patients, and the clinic’s attending doctors of audiology. Aubrey’s core responsibilities include patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, patient record management, internal marketing, and inventory management. In her spare time, Aubrey enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her friends and family.
